Tarapur Nuclear Power Plant is India’s first nuclear power plant established around 50 years ago, displacing few villages near town named Tarapur. Once a protagonist visits those villages. He observes the situation of thousands of displaced people and he finds that the displaced people lost their land, homes, sea and almost everything but they didn’t get proper compensation, instead they got many deceases, which were unknown to them earlier.

On 8 August, Thousands came out on Delhi streets to protest against the ‪BRAI‬ bill (Biotechnology Regulatory Authority of India) which will allow genetically modified crops into our plates, without our knowledge and opinion. The protests also saw political representation from MPs of Congress, BJP, CPI, CPI (M) and DMK who assured the farmers of their support against the bill.

Pran’s last rites were attended by by some leading Bollywood personalities including Lyricist Gulzar was amongst the first bollywood celebrities to reach the cremation ground. Amitabh Bachchan, Karan johar, Raza Murad, Anupam Kher, Kiran Kumar, Danny Denzongpa & Tinu Anand amongst many others too came to pay homage to the legendary actor. The actor is survived by his wife Shukla, daughter Pinky, and sons Arvind and Sunil.
